It’s important to find an exercise you enjoy doing and that’s actually fun, like swimming, hiking, riding bicycles, walking, etc. And once you can actually start enjoying exercise, you will find that they will want to do it more often, making it a part of their weekly routine. It can help you melt away the stress in your life which will lead to greater happiness. In fact, studies show spending time in nature can help relieve stress and anxiety, improve your mood, and boost feelings of happiness and wellbeing. Our brains can literally benefit from being surrounded by nature.
If you want another benefit of exercise, think lymphatic system. Unlike the cardiovascular system with the heart automatically pumping fluid, the lymph system relies on our body movements as a pump. Without movement that forces the lymphatic fluid to drain, toxins collect stagnantly in the lymph instead of leaving the body.
